Walking uphill becomes easier, because two electric motors give you exactly as much support as you need at that moment. Going downhill, ello brakes automatically and gives you a secure hold. That way, inclines and slopes of up to 11 per cent can be managed comfortably. Kerbs and small steps become easier too: at the touch of a button, ello helps you over the obstacle. The large wheels keep you steady on uneven paths as well.

    See and be seen

    At dusk, the lights switch on by themselves. They light the way ahead and below, and make you visible from behind. There are also reflectors on the wheels and a horn to draw attention to yourself.

    Fall prevention
